I'm seriously considering buying a 05 zx10 Fish, and doing just that.
TURBO.
The bike I'm looking at already has akro, pc3, muzzy rearsets, stainless lines, scotts dampner, lowering link, pilot powers, gearing, yellow box etc etc .
2000 km, and owned by 52 year old. MINT MINT MINT! cond and black!
$ 12,500 obo for last 6 months.
If zx-14's have not appeared anywhere on the continent by April 9th, If th eprice is right I will pick it up.
For around $16,000 I will have a 250-300 HP bike that is 100 lb lighter than zx14.
Oh yaeh, heli bars too!

Will see what materializes from zx14 till Apr 9.

One thing that really bothers me about the 14 is if it is dropped, knocked over or falls over, no place to mount real frame sliders. OUCH.

Oh, and if it does get damaged, can't even be converted to street fihgter.
Fighter look real dumb especially, ones with mono- cock frames!

zx-10 =100 lbs lighter
for twisties turn down the boost!

actually on dontbescaredracing.com I saw a piped, slammed, and geared 10r running consistent 9.30 second quarter mile times... just degree your cams, 107/104 velocity stacks, bmc filter, full system, and a 16th front sprocket you will be NASTY...

oh yeah, If seriously interested Fish, I found a site some time a go by a private individual -Gary Evans.
Very good, unbiased (no sales pitch) of systems available, and very cool meticulous setup he has on his busa.
Multi ( 4 i think) stage progressive boost control for each gear .
Very cool, very well thought and progressive contol.
A turbo you can actually ride.
