This was posted on another board, the white TA makes around 550 rear wheel HP and walks away from this zx10. This car probably weighs around 3500lbs. Thoughts?

couldn't see it. But I would think it only could be rider error. Even with 550 rwhp and say the 10 had only 164 rwhp and the car weights actually over 3500lbs( I had one) The power to weight ratio is still way off..

I think it's obvious that the zx wasen't trying to keep up. i can't remember how many times i rolled up next to a car and they thougt they were king shit and I'll start tugging at the throttle, and the car would take off. I'd just sit there and laugh and see how stupid they would get.

ive got an ls1 camaro with a few mods but no bottle. my zx10 will flat out walk away from it and im pushing around 410 rwhp!i can't see it happening the rider had to be screwin around with him!

Well as an update...the driver of the TA said the zx10 rider just got it and was short shifting it ~10k. He probably started in 2nd or 3rd too.
My LS1 TA does ~550 at the wheels depending on the jet and my zx9 dinosaur still has the TA covered by at least 10mph. I wouldn't even think of going at it with a 10 from a roll.

Rider (I didn't watch the vid).
I raced a 593RWHP Vette and there was no "pulling away" till the top side O 170 (180 indicated).

My 02 SS at 8psi of boost makes over 500 hp and its not even close to my 12r at 180 hp. The two arnt even comparable in acceleration.
Its like comparing a Cessna 150 to an F15.
