Well if you were expecting a giant horsepower improvement, of course you would be disappointed.

Did you ever have it on a dyno?

I had a micron std. mount on mine and i loved it. I had it on the dyno at 1500 miles and it made 156hp and 77flb torque. When it was on they dyno i loved the sound cause i never had it to redline before. The finish on the pipe was really good, i got alot of compliments on it. As for the sounds it had a nice nice deep sound under about 6500 then after that the thing just screamed. The dyno showed something odd though, while overall the power was linear it did dip and peak very slightly while going up. The micron is in the mid price range the cheapest place to get it is indysuperbike.com 330 for std. stainless and 380 for the colors which by the way if you don't know they have a color to go with almost any bike(i had black to green fade).http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_0410_pipe_clips/ has sound clips of alot of the brands though i'm not sure which bike they used that's how i decided which one to get well that and i didn't want a regular chrome can. I just recently got a gixxer k5 and it's also getting a micron. I hope that site with the sound clips helps in you decesion.

What kind of gains could I get from getting a BMC filter, factory pro velocity stacks a pcIII, and two brothers or akrapovic slip on?

Well, for one thing the weight reduction in your wallet oughta garner you at least a tenth.
