Where to locate immobiliser on the ZX10R?

There isn't a great deal of space under the pilion seat to locate an alarm or immobiliser. I would like to locate one elsewhere to save space but where? If you have an alarm/immobiliser fitted to your ZX10R, where is it located?

Cheers
Kev.

You'r right.. there's absolutely no space whatsoever (reminds me of this topic from ages ago (pix) http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=19&TID=12723 )

You can locate items like your alarm etc by hanging them "off" the rear subframe so they are still contained within the bodywork but not taking up what little trunk space you have. You may need to be creative in adding some weatherproofing if your gadgetry isnt 100% sealed, but there is quite a bit of space on either the left or right sides of the outer rear subframe.

hope that makes sense

I mounted my comunication system behind the side panel on the left side of the bike. One drawback to that location though is it is easy for thieves to access it. If they don't know that it is there they would have to take off the cover to find out.
