Have a 06 Question...Extremelean? Anybody? :)

Will the 04 10R rims fit on the 06 10r? I have a spare set and really want to put the black ones on. I checked part numbers on Kawi's website and they are different--but is that because of color? They look like they would fit....but just wondering if anyone knows before I do some experimenting

Thanks.

Looks like the axles are different. I'm thinking not.

don't forget also that the 06 uses a taller tire so if you switch and want the same feel don't forget to change the tire size.

I'm looking for the same answer... Anyone with direct Kaw insight that can answer this question wouuld be much appreciated!

I'd imagine a quick call to the guys at Attack would get the info too, but I haven;t had a chance to call...

Your on the right track by checking part numbers. Look a little further on the parts catalog and compare bearings, nuts etc. You'll probably find the answer.

Spacers, collars, bearings, and sprocket carrier are all the same part #'s for the rear, so the rear wheel will bolt right in....just make sure you double check the brake fitment.

The front I am not sure of...you would have to find out if both wheels have the same bearing O.D.,.....If they do, then you need to see if the spacer between the bearings is the same length.
If all this checks out....you will need the 2006 bearings, spacer, collars, and seals.
AND make sure you check brake fitment.

good luck

I would want to know the same thing if I were to buy an 06. Because I went through the trouble of polishing the edged and painting the centers Kwak green. That way the person getting my 05 would get the new junk Dunlops.
