'04 selling price?
I've not sold a within-two-year-old motorcycle before.
NADA/KBB have fairly low valuation on the '04 10R. I haven't seen on for sale on WERA, or Craigslist in the last four weeks.
Mine's clean, 9200 miles, front wheel recall done, your choice of bone stock or with Jardine C/F can, braided front lines, KHI-made euro signals, Targa undertail license bracket, and relatively new Pilot Powers. It's black, and never raced, never been down.
I'm coming up on the decision point to race or sell - I have a TD in Feb to risk the bike at to help me decide.
If I sell, I have plans for the dough - an enclosed trailer and a 650R to race along with my 636.
What would you gents suggest for a price?

Well if you want it to sell to give you an idea...a fully base 2004 zx10r in stock trim but in flawless condition will get around $7500 from most buyers with average/low milage, your may be considered slightly high milage for a zx10r..but that would be a couple hundred bucks off maybe. If you have all the time in the world and can wait till weather warms up then you can get more then 7500, but 7500 just happens to be what I have noticed. People sell them for much more but they usually end up selling much lower then the asking price. So ask a few hundred more then you want. Then get all the optional parts and add them on at 60% of what you paid for them. That will give you a good idea of what the minimum you should be asking is. If you decide to race let me know cause I need some black fairings, and could buy them from you. Hope this helps. Our zx10r's are taken for granted, people do not offer quite what they are worth. R1's and 1000rr's sell much easier, which I hate!

kz are you going to the trackday this weekend, or the school next weekend? If you do bring it with you. I woudl be interested in seeing it and talking prices. I hve been thinking about another bike to race....that woudl be cool as I wouldnt be switching bikes back and forth. I woudl have a 10 for the track and one for the street....
i will be at Arroya this friday night and ride saturday, maybe stay and ride sunday....I am on Arroyos board and on ASMA board as ZIXER....

You know, I was wondering if that was you. No, I'll be there in Feb with the 10R, unless I sell it first.
I'm recovering from Christmas shopping excesses this year, so no track riding until next month.

cool man..yeah it was me...i went out and talked to roger saturday for about an hour about the track and club. nice guy.
I am tossing the idea of another bike around along with the idea of trying my hand at the beginner class as well. I woudl really like another 03 ZX6RR like I had, I loved tha tbike and should have kept it.......lol But another black ZX10 I could do that too.....lol
