One concern that I would have (other than trashing that new of a bike) is that the bike is made so light that you will probably end up breaking a lot of stuff. From reading these boards I have heard that the radiator supports don't hold up too well to abuse. I am sure that you will find a lot of other items don't as well. The bike was made for racing not for thrashing. If you have the money to stunt a 2yr old bike then maybe you don't mind paying for replacement parts. Other than that wear a helmet and have fun!!! I will look for you and root for ya at the stunt shows that I go to.

A zx10 is probably the worst stuntbike I could think of, other than a k5 gsxr.
Get a beat up 600 with a cage and pizza sized sprocket.

Hey im 34 years old i always wear my helmet and complete MX protective gear.... i have been riding for over twenty years... and stunting for about two all told iv already owned 3 x ZX10's for track and road... but use an old fire blade RRT for stunts...(which cuts out as you drag the 12 bar cos of the carbs it starves the needles when vertical. I dont have a ten at mo but i miss em so so so much... i used to stunt my black 04 road ten a bit and thought that it would make an ideal stunt bike with the gearing maybe 1 down on the front and bout 8 up on rear..... too much power is not the issue nor is breakabillity but the oil pick up position is.... i will streetfighter it with dirtbike bars and cage etc...see the great thing about stunting a new bike is they are so damn precise...the throttle control is so sweet on the ten and the power delivery is really predictable.. but hey why is everyone so down on stunters i mean its just a logical progression!!!

prolly cause most can't do what a good stunter can do
seriously tho, stunters as a whole work very hard on creating a negative image, so why r u surprised? certainly there are clean, professional stunters out there (more so in europe than here) but they seem to be vastly outnumbered by punks trying to be/look tough. ever watch some of the vids from the big commercial stunt groups? i lost all respect for pauly ( i _think_ it was pauly) after seeing that vid where they terrorized the little kid selling candy. it's not relevant to stunting at all and it was just plain low. and what about starboyz: they titled their series FTP. i mean, many here arent big fans of the police either (as evidenced by recent threads) but not too many people go around making it their name. so yeah, people are down on stunters pretty much because stunters make people down on them (again, as a group, individuals will vary completely).
as to breakage, in this case u may be well advised to care. the 10 (and the recent gixxer 1k) have seen a few frame failures/breaks in less than incredible crashes. don't know how well either of them would hold up to the abuse of serious stunting unless the rider is particularly smooth and error-free.

i've been stunting my zx7r for about 2 yrs now. there are definitely better stunt bikes out there but at least my stuff doens't break. now a zx10, that thing is going to come apart for sure. not that it's a poorly made bike, but it's made of such light weight materials it's definetely not going to hold up, in my opinion.....

good answer mate i guess the stunters in england are a bit less gung ho than your mad hatters...... personally i just love the machine control aspect of it and the ZX10 is the most precise machine ever to be made public...... im going to bring out a film with a few of my english stunt pals but its going to include a more political approach to motorbikes, racing and stunting sighting the sport as an avenue for expression and freedom in the face of corporate lies and false marketing (cars = oppression, incarceration join the queue!! Bikes = liberty freedom vulnerabillity etc)....
ps do you remember the first time you wound the throttle in second and after 8000 the world just went blur... well you dont get that in a car unless you got a lotta money....and even then your only stuck behind the family in the 4 x 4..... long live the Stunter Long live the biker long live the racer long live the C90.............er
