Opening the butterfly valve? I want to try opening the butterfly valve in the exhuast. How does that work? Anyone have some pics they can illustrate to me how to do it. Also, is there any negative effects to opening it? Other then the decreased low/midrange power? Like do any light come on? If they, do will they go away after reconnecting the butterfly valve? Any and all info would be appreciated by those who know.

diconnecting the cables will leave the valve open. if you leave the module plugged in no light will come on. As for Hp, I have not seen a dyno sheet with and without the valve connected or left open. I do know it is louder left open and most likely thats all it was for.

I believe a few have tried it and there was no increase in HP. Maybe a bit of loss, I can't remember. But the cable disconnect is the safest.

If anyone has access to a dyno, I would really like to see a chart with the valve hooked up and with it disconnected. I was messing with mine last night and I does sound good with it opened up.

I could show you what you want to know, but I choose not to. It's your signature you fuggin Safety Nazi. Mind your own business, who cares if someone else chooses to wear a Helmet or not if its legal. You remind me of my Doctor, he called my 10 a Murdercycle.

I probably shouldn't say anything but I will anyhow. It really bugs me when I see somebody that it STUPID enough to ride without a helmet. It also amazes me how they come up some lame excuse that it safer to ride without one. When these people are in accidents everyone else has to pay for thier stupidity. It is just not the medical bills but the lost work and the image of the sport in general that is affected. I have already said too much so I am not going to say any more about this touchy subject but I WILL keep my signature the same. I hope that I have not offended any one but I get pretty wound up about this subject. Back to main topic I would still like to see a dyno chart.
