Slip on exhausts

G'day fellas,

The time has come to put an exhaust on the 10...

I'm looking at getting a slip on, what do you guys recommend?

I heard the Akro is not to bad, let me know...

cheers

search slip on exhausts, this topic has been beatn to the ground......

Suffice to say anyone of the standard slip on exhausts for the ZX10 will work fine....I prefer my Area P in the 15inch length. just my opinion

area p is what i recommend. that same pipe u see up there is an area p exhaust, but keep in mind u can use/keep the original footpeg/exhaust bracket just fine so the missus will let u ride more and more and more and more....

build quality on an M4 and an AreaP are completely different...AreaP looks like and artists wok in comparison to a handicap kid finger painting with the M4......JMO

I live in Oz, dont think we can get the area p here...

Its either akro, a micron or yoshi

I'm most likely getting the Akro slip on (titanium) heard their ok.

If you guys had a choice which one would it be????

I have the muzzy slip-on. It sounds great but (IMO) it just doesn't look as good as the AreaP. I'm thinking next bike might get an AreaP, the only problem is I'm not planning on getting rid of the 10r any time soon.

Muzzy makes great products, but the mid pipe on the 10R slip on looks like ass...I dont care for all the welds up the mid pipe......JMO

muzzy is good too...i didn't find an area p...but after i saw the m4 i fell in love...and by the way m4 craftsmanship is amazing...dont talk shit until you have looked at a zx10r with the m4 carbon up close...you have likely seen m4's on other bikes...the zx10r slip is awesome...believe me. Well worth $550 shipped for the M4 carbon oval race slip-on...Smooth finish, nice quality carbon fiber, flawless fit and finish...it comes with the built in mount...so it looks invisible...if someone could post my pics i can send some...i dont know how to post pics on here.

I have seen 3 different zx10R's with M4 slip ons.....and I have seen the area p up close an personal as well....there is NO comparison....but its your money, buy what makes you happy......and if its $550 US, that is too much money for a slip on....there are many out there for much less money....but like I said, its your money.....

I have an M4 slip on and I like it for the money, Carbon Fiber, High Mount, very simple can with ss mid pipe for $325.00. Looks awesome on my bike. M4 web site says it gave me 2 hp and almost 2 ft #. Build quality good, sounds good, not bad for 350.00 shipped.

How much is the artwork, I mean the AreaP?

You can visit our website for more info on the differences. We only use aircraft gradeTitanium for the mid-pipe (not s.s.) on the ZX10, and a very high temp carbon fiber. We currently have a special going at $395 for Bikeland members. Thanx for asking!

yep, my bike...i will get some decent pics up here...i have the good ones at home...this was the worst angle so i figured if it looked decent from the worst angle, it will only look better from all theother angles. I will get the other pics ASAP.
