hmmmI know my ZX10R isnt 61.5 inches long in the wheelbase? And if I see the pics right...there are extentions on the swingarm. If you ment the Micron makes the exhaust look longer than stock, i could agree with that. However your comment was makes the BIKE look longer than stock, and IT IS.

By the way, weclomce to the board FNG....hope you enjoy.....

Is the ride ok cruising at high speed? My zx9r looks like it's about the same height...and it beats the shit out of me when I'm on the highway.

You guys go to far when modifying your bikes.

Here in Oz, you'd never see that sort of thing...

To me it looks wierd, but what ever makes you happy.

P.S. Loved the Micron joke.

bike rides smooth. As for pete the bike was extended and lowerd to avoid coming up. Now I can floor it and have no worries of it coming up.

that's like clipping a birds wings.

lengthening a bike like that may be cool for dragging but surely it must turn like a tanker?

I know it stop the front end from lifting, but its like ocat says "where's the fun in that"....
there nothing that makes the ring puckers than the front end lifting at 230km. Trust I know......
Kawa spends millions on R & D, if they thought it required a longer wheel base they would have designed it that way.

So I guess everyone that dragraces the 10r is just wrong and should go back to a stock wheelbase?

People like different things. Obviously he'd rather drag race than wheelie or turn the bike. It's his bike and he can do whatever the hell he wants with it.

hey turns are cool if its your thing. I prefer to pull on busa's and gixxer1000. The look on there face never gets old after I spank them. Alota people in my area hate on kaw's and once they see my bike hunt down the other brands they start to change there opinons.

It's about having fun; I had mine same setup ... lowered 2 inches front and rear and added about six inch swingarm...with less wheelie with a grippy tire makes for more control in first two gears when it comes to straight line acceleration...sure there is more to the 10R than that but that is still lots of fun... plus it still turns ok for street use where it spends it's time anyways....as they say whatever turn ya on.. it's your money... dragracing is fun...ZX-10R does very well in that respect....Power to weight ratio is given and setting up right is a challenge and can be fun!!
