Whos the fastest? post your top speeds here!
I seen 2 videos on top speed runs for the 10r, one guy hit 177mhp, and the other 299kph. Cycle world magazine says that their stock test bike hit 185mph. So lets hear what you've all hit at the redline

I have seen 189 MPH on the speedo, doenst say much as I am down a tooth in the front....bike turned 177 MPH on a dyno with this gearing setup

So far my fastest has been only about 163  I had the CBR600RR before this so I got to get used to this monster!

but then i think the SH setting is still off +2mph

On the ZX12 with speedo corrected(yellow box) on dyno .5 error at 100 with -1 front gearing 186mph indicated way past redline bouncing off the revlimiter or possible speedlimiter.
Too many variables at these speeds for accurate actual speeds though, tire swell, tire slippage etc...

If adding in zx12r #'s is ok...
My 2000 12 went 196 mph (GPS+Radar Gun verified). Speedo indicated "between the 215 and 220 lines" at a glance.
Only mods at the time were full pipe and map. Made sure a fresh set of tires were on it also!

I've only had the 10r for a month and upto 240km, got tankslap changing from 3rd to 4th.
But my '02 GSXR 750 I had upto 275km with 500rpm to go, but no more road.
Let me figure out how to get around this tankslap issue, and then i'll post my result.

ive seen 195 on speedo and still climbing with stock gears , with 2 down in front and 4 up in rear hits rev limiter in 6th at 189.00 !!!!!!
full akro race exhuast , bmc filter, ivans tre, power commander , custom mapped!

299,742,458meters per second with 2 gears to go! And although I thought the ride to only be a few minutes when I stopped all my friends said I was missing for a year.
