lol...those are off the 99-02 6R's, got a scrap one setting on my fridge, and one on the wifes 6R.....

Unless KHI is stepping backwards look at the redline on that, same as my 01, and 1000 rpm's less than my 03......

I like these better than the new 10R's guages...dual analog is the best! I think Kawi is going in the right direction. Join the good crowd Jim, stay with Team Green!

Old or new, that tach looks sooooooo nice. Too bad some ass fag interior decorator wannabe at KHI was allowed to corrupt function with a butt sucking digital clusterfuck on the 10R.

Speaking of those gauges, while the thing won't go a true 180 of course, it will go an indicated 180 with no worse speedometer error than typical for a bike... can you imagine what we would have thought of it, back in 1980 let's say, if someone said that someday easily within your life a 636cc streetbike purchased by the masses at an economical price will go such a speed?

Would have seemed total science fiction or even just flat unbelievable!

In those days a 1000cc bike pulled 140 indicated!

Amazing progress really.
