Rita's coming............
We are waiting on Rita to make landfall, We have 7 bikes in my father-in-laws living room.Good luck to all that are facing the storm to come................
I was evacuating on my 10r and a Chevy Cavalier gets right on my tail.........I'm going about 85 mph down HWY 92.They pass me ,I get on their tail and we run about 110 mph until we get to Spurger TX.(30 miles) 110 is all a Cavalier will do,,,,,,,,,,
I am staying in Jasper TX we are supposed to get about 90 mph winds.
I'm not looking forward to that

Yeah it does suck for me and my 3 kids and my pregnant wife........no electricity for at least a month,no water,no food.We have downed trees all over the place.My house sustained wind damage and some water damage but we will be ok.No one in the area will have electrical power for possibly a month or longer.We had to throw out $$$ of meat and cold goods.No gasoline for several hundred miles of us.I work for an auto dealership(I did,I dont know about right now)I siphoned enough gas to fill my 4 Runner.I have motel rooms in Hot Springs Arkansas(8 hours away,closest rooms we could find)I have never seen this kind of destruction,so many people with out food or water.Temps over 100.people are getting very short fused,I have my 9mm every where I go.Everyone in the US will feel this since our area supplies a huge portion of our nations gas supply.I hope you had a good ride ikezixxer.My bike came out fine and I will ride again,least of my worries right now.Any bikeland folks from Hot Springs area give me a shout,I will be there for 8- 10 days.Best of luck to any of my fellow Texans and Louisana neighbors.God Bless

Well bring your zx10r and we will ride...that will get rid of ALL of your problems! Maybe not, but damn, nothing like our zx10's to help us through the stressful times...you from beaumont? I bought my zx10r from a guy in beaumont...I ride a black one with M4 exhaust (as of right now)

I'm from Silsbee,about 20 miles southeast of Beaumont.I got to Hot Springs Arkansas about 7:00 CST,I drove in on HWY 7..........I wish I had my 10 with me,sweet road.My bro in law and his family is here too,he has a 636.He is wishin we would have brought the bikes too.I too have a Black 10,but with a yoshimura.When things get back to normal ikezixxer we will take a ride.
