Ping: Hells Dark Lord
So I started poking around ZX12 zone looking at the 05's (I'm in the market again) and came across the 06's (can you say fugly) and I here the ZX10's are the knats ass compared to the 12's. WTF
And to my surprise, I see that you've added a 10 to your stable. Did you get rid of your 12?
How does it compare.
I'll still never get rid of my REX. Ive done tons since Stewart. Looking at a big bore kit next.
Anyways, whats up

Hey Casey....long time brother......I have picked up a ZX10. I had no intention on getting one, I had the 12 custom painted and had some other stuff done to it. But 10 days after I got it back, I totaled it. A guy stopped on a green light in rushhour traffic to let a car merge from a parking lot. I wasnt fully paying attention and was checking gauges, when I looked up all I had time to do was put it down on its side. I was only going about 25mph at the time, but the frame boke and the insurance company wrote it off. 3 days later I had the Black of sittin in my garage.
I really like the 12, and woudl still have it if it werent for the accident. As far as comparison of the 2, they are apples and oranges. The 12 is a great bike, nice and stable with relatively good handling. It makes monster torque and gives a relatively comfortable ride. The 10 is a beast with HP. It hits alot harder on the top end rush than my 12 did. Its not as comfortable on long rides as the 12, but handles SOOOOOO much better. A day in the mountains woudl give you a work out on the 12, the 10 is just a joy to ride in twisties.
I am not liking the looks of either the new ZX14, or the new ZX10....if I were to buy a ZX12 right now, it woudl be the black 05 model, I really like that one.
I hear ya about hating the sand, man you got screwed having to go back over there. When are ya comming home? I ma so glad we didnt have to worry so much about IED's when we were there....
I just went to the ZRXOA Rally over this past weekend. It was a great time, you will have to make one of them when ya get back. We rode some great roads, and I met some really great people.

Damm. That sucks when do you report?
The Regiment is moving there, so you may end up in 3rd ACR. I'm staying in Colorado for at least 2 years, cause I reuped for stabilization in FT. Carson. I'm planning on droping a drill packet, so I may end up in Benning if the Armor Center moves. I dont know what the hell to do. If I'm real lucky and I make the next 7 list, them I may try for ROTC instructer slot somewhere. I just need a break from the box.

take whatever break you can get man.....i dont liek Knox, but I am glad I didnt go back.....but I may still get my 2nd rotation yet....
Looks liek right now I will be in 1St Cav. they are sending a unit there as well, standing it up now. Hopefully I will make the next list as well, only time will tell.
Have to be there in January....so the weather wont be too bad then....
