That is an interesting shifter configuration. Gotta have that master cyl. And I wouldn't mind the HID headlights. I have them in my car ...fricking awesome. Don't like the styling of the headlights but that is subjective. A set of smaller flatter cans and I could easily live with the thing.

An aftermarket exhaust is going to cost an ungodly amount of $$.

i thought the generator was moved to the end of the crank, to the traditional location? yet one of the engine pics there shows the new high-speed generator location. am i missing something?
guages are pretty damn trick, but judging by the photo i'm worried as to how visible the tach needle is gonna be.
trunk aint 12R sized, that's for sure, but much better than the current 10 from what i can see.
new cat location should make them more efficient due to higher heat, but i wonder how the additional heat source right below the oil pan is gonna affect heat management? obviously opening up the bellypan was partly in response to that.
TedG, is that actually HID? i took it to be halogen projectors...
anybody know what's the reason for using different materials for the 2 butterfly valves?

I read somewhere that they were going to be HID. I could be mistaken. If they aren't that would take a bunch of the appeal out of the bike for me. I am not a hard core track racer any more and just a bit of added power and some better headlights would make my 10 almost perfect.

Interesting front member on the frame???
Does this frame arch higher that the first gen?
Hopefully the gauge is readable in full sunlight.
Really interested to know how effective the single low beam projector is gonna be - H3 bulbs I assume?
How are we sposed ta hack the cats outta those?
Rear cowl shape will please some folks.
I'm assuming that this bike will be mechanicaky quieter now that the starter gear dealio has been relocated.
Swingarm/rear caliper set up look sweet.
Anybody else thinkin bout 2 lil stubby dump pipes offa the collector flanges?
I suppose someone will bitch bout the damper...

personally, i wouldnt. i doubt u'd save any significant weight or gain power, and u'r keeping your emissions cleaner. last thing we need is even more unburnt hydrocarbons floating around for no good reason.

Looks like the oil pan has been re-designed. It no longer has the front bolt on chamber that increases the volume of oil. The cats look removeable - there are clamps on the downstream side, and of course the bolt on flanges on the inlet side. Will make building headers for the car easier thats for sure as welding ti won't be required.

Wow, that'd be cool if it didn't look SO FUCKING GAY!!!!!!! If I want to come out of the closet I'll save the 11 grand and just tell people I'm queer.
I like the red key and the instruments.... other than that it looks like the Richard Simmons Express. Maybe they'll paint 'em Mary Kay pink and Akro will come out with a Liberace edition set of cans for it.
