D - shame on you for going to Ortega without me. You taking lessons from someone else?

That is an interesting road - and I'd love to ride it someday when automobiles are outlawed.

If they ever consider an "Isle of Man" type race where the roads are blocked off, I'm there.

Ortega most definitely sucks. I was doing some break-in miles up there when I ran into D.
The Palomar area is more to my liking. But I still go through Ortega to get there and back.
Anyone going to be at Buttonwillow track day 9/5/05?

Still waiting for the lessons - twas a rare Sat morning putt with way too much traffic.

Oddly enough there were 4 10's up there though (out of about 10 bikes).

It doesn't get much newer then that, down to the paint strips on the tires.

I couldn't wait to take off the reflectors, stickers, and cut the mud flap to the bottom of the lic plate. Oh yeah and get rid of the chicken strips. I'm at 800 miles now and ready to start working it up to red line.
