My new track bike
R6 for sale. Brought this home today:

Stopped by the local PPG place to get them to match the blue (gave them the fender). The body fitment will start tonight, then the usual stuff will happen to the bike over the next few weeks.
The R6 gets it's final hurrah with me as owner (someone buy it, it's a good bike, email for pics and details) this weekend for some tire testing I'm doing. The 636 will be ready for the August 13th weekend.
Oh, and XL - I am now officially hooked on Monster, red, green, whatever it takes. I have just bought my second case.

Ahem. Not saying Ahem because of the absolute numbers (dynos vary, it was 110'F, yadda), but look at both traces. Same bike, minutes apart. What's different?

Congrats. That is my favorite color. My 99 ZX9 was that color. I liked it so much I painted my ZX12 the same color. I am now thinking of doing it with my 10 as well.

Yep, that's the jumper!
My wife on Monster: She gets sort of wired, and feels all sorts of energy, that she can use, to say, rearrange the living room furniture at 2 AM...
The bike is now stripped, and the bodywork is going on. The spools and sliders are on, and the paint is next. Suspension next weekend.
The guys in my club are calling it a cheater bike! That's jealousy for ya...

On rereading it, I see your confusion.
My R6 is for sale, since I bought a 6R. The 6R is getting prepped. As soon as I can decently sell the R6, my garage will be All Kawasaki ® - the 6R, and the black 10R.

an update - I sold the R6, and took the 636 to the track last weekend.
I took 4 seconds off my recent times, and 2 seconds off my best with the R6. I expect better times yet after gearing changes, rearsets (was dragging boots at the same time as knees), and as I learn reference points at (much) higher entry speeds.
One note - do NOT use any spacer in these forks except cut-down OEM ones. I turned a faster laptime right off the bat with the forks locked solid than I ever did on the R6 - and it felt like the R6 did - I came in and told my pitmate I wanted to remove a few clicks of compression damping. He pushed down on the fork, and it didn't move. We fixed that quickly, but the lesson is to be shared. Use the Showa spacers!
