Racefit exhaust slip on???
Hey guys, I'm a new user, just wondering, what is the best slip on to make my bike louder. I've been reading and saw that getting a full system really isn't worth it for the price. I heard about the racefit slip on, is that a good one to get? Does this increase performance at all....haven't really heard much about it because every site i try to get some information from has nothing about it. Thanks for reading, hope you guys could help me out.

If your looking for "loudness", I'm sure Kerry at Area P can make something for you. A 15" CF canister with a 2.375" core ought to be plenty loud, look good and at a great price. Check out the top thread in this forum.

All I know is that for their "Slash Cut", it costs $320 for basically a short piece of flanged and cut pipe. You can shell out $800 for a shorty can. Interestingly enough, SpeedyCom, the worldwide distributor for Racefit shows a different looking can that the one shown by the sole U.S. distributor, Hammy the Can Man.

Notice the "custom bracket" coming off the rearset.

The mid-pipe on this one looks rather cheap for a $800 slip on.
Neither one really impressed me. As for the slash cut, I couldn't ride 50 miles with a 98dB straight pipe before it would drive me nuts. Ear plugs wouldn't cut it with that pipe. Not to mention all the "unplanned stops" via the cops as I try to explain how a "race only" pipe is "street legal".
