Looks like a TRE to me. Our bikes aren't restricted.

Does anyone know and can prove the truth on this? Its only a $32 part. From Dano's site-----------> "Kawasaki's ZX10R model has electronic circuitry which retards the ignition timing in the first four gears, which also reduces the horsepower. Simply plugging in our Derestrictor unit will dramatically increase power in the first four gears and will improve throttle response. For this reason this is a must have performance upgrade. Installation time for this unit is about 30 minutes. Also included is a set of detailed instructions and the special tools that are required to install this unit. The Kawasaki Derestrictor (KDR) unit will fit 2004-05 Kawasaki ZX10R models."

well that's not the common interpretation of the term "restrictor", which is usually applied to peak HP. frankly unless u have an extended swingarm having more power in gears 1 thru 4 aint gonna do you any good anyway as ur having a hard time keepin teh front end down as is (which i'm sure would be the point of such a restriction to begin with). jsut don't think u'r gonna get higher readings when you go to a dyno after installing that thing.
