Rev Light

Just purchased the Rev Light by Data Tool and wanted to know if anybody has any experience with this or how it works. They said it must be used by means of electric connection not cable. The 10 is electric right or cable actuated.

I have one and like it alot. If you want it to last you'll have to seal it.
silicone it on all side except the front. thin layer of clear silicone works best. other wise it will get water in it and last three months or so. I tapped into the harness on the left side just above the turn signal.

I'm not to sure what you mean by this " They said it must be used by means of electric connection not cable. The 10 is electric right or cable actuated."

Just butt connect your wires and make sure you use weather proof type.
revlight says not to but no problems so far.
