Back Home

Made it back from the bay. Left at 3:15am, got into the house 3:30pm. Not bad for 890 miles, pulling the bike trailer with my Element.

Seems the house got broke into while I was gone. Thank God for alarm systems. Did a quick walkthrough, didn't see anything missing or disturbed, other than the popped deadbolt and fingerprint dust from the sheriff deputies doing the investigation. The Z06 was *untouched*.

Emptied the Element, stowed the bike and trailer away in the shop, then went and got the dog from the Vet. (Not Vette, like I spelled it first. ) He's doing great, a whole lot of energy and eating real good. The whole nursing staff fell in love with him,, of course. I got the little wedge of lumber that came out of his gut. Gonna get it bronzed, I think. That fucking piece of wood cost me bout $3500. Ah well, not really any choice in the matter.

Peace everyone. Enjoy the holidays if you get them.

All is well that ends well.

I was going to rag on you for driving an Element at first but the Z06 made up ground for you quickly!

Glad your dog is well.

I have the $10K dog over here at my house. Stupid thing should be bionic by now, instead he just looks like a regular dog to everyone.

$10k on a dog? Anything over $100 and Sparky is going down.

as for your $100 bucks bovine... it's your perogative... I on the other hand would sell my bike, my home, my cars, all my guns and get a second job to save one of my boyz.. But to each his own....
