Yeah - I got the same bulk e-mail too.

I replied that my BMC had been in use for bout 5 months already and that I was very satisfied.

Fuck K&N. I have no doubt that their fit and filtering ability will be all of what it was on the 12.

Pretty much - I refrained from that exact terminology though.

I use a K&N to restrict the hp on my race bike.

Got the dyno graphs to prove it.
Kills 4 hp on a motor with a full pipe and extensive motor work and dyno tuning by Vass Performance.

Fuck K&N

In order to qualify for the L/W Am classes I meant to say.

70hp class limit and my bike puts out 75hp.

just to clearify.

Ah sorry, I misunderstood.
Believe it or not, the OEM unit works best according to my dyno sheets.

I concur. Stock works well enough. The only reason I'm keeping the BMC is I can clean it.

K+N filters for the 12R are complete junk. They don't fit, they curl up as they're inserted, and you almost have to destroy them to get them out. Think about inserting a really fat piece of toast in a regular slice size toaster.

Same sit with the Yamaha model for my race bike.

Crunched it like a beer can [around the sides] to get it IN the airbox. Didn't seal at the top of the air box and was a total bitch to get out .........

Junk
actually .......

fuck'n junk.

i tried bmc filters on my 10 and my 12r, remove them quickly, to get same performance as stock you need to richen a lot the bikes. so your gas dealer will happy.bikes with bmc leaned too much the motor and it's very dangerous.
