I'm back!!!
Well, me and the boys just got back from the Imola SBK race and track day at Mugello, and I have to tell you that I have never seen "production bikes"(yeah right) that were so damn fast, and what a great show. The track day at Mugello was AWESOME!!!! No track will ever be as good again. I didn't do too bad, my fastest time was 2.16.05 and my buddy on his 04 R1 was 2.19.78 so I can't complain too much. I can't emphasize enough, if you get the chance to do a track day there definitely jump on it. Sorry just really excited still.

Sweet. My next track day is December at Laguna Seca (not counting some forays to Fontana...). In my humble & possibly biased open, Laguna is "the" track in the USofA. It has it all. Fast, slow, heavy braking, elavation changes, decent passing areas. And the overall package of being on the Ocean & the whole Monteray scene is just a bonus. Come on over!

KB> You can believe that when I get back to the states that is one of the places that I really want to ride. Mugello is like a roller coaster ride, I don't think the track is ever flat, and it flows so well. I'm like 27 seconds behind what the pole time was for Motogp, so I guess that's not too bad for a street rider. I'll be posting up some pics of the SBK race when I get the chance.
