gonna get loopy
..went to the ortho this afternoon...he said: we need to open up you finger and reposition that joint NOW!...so they scheduled me for surgery tonight under general anesthesia(sp?)...I asked him why I couldn't go local anesthesia...he said: it would be too traumatic and painful...I said: oh (and silently 'shit')
..at least it'll be on an out-patient basis...a 1 1/2 hour procedure the go home...its my gun hand...man, I hope the repair works...c'yaz!

last time they knocked me out, I didn't even notice - I was trying hard to notice when the drugs would kick in, and I never realized it had until after I woke up.
And my knee hurt. Doc shoved pics in my face about 10 seconds after waking up and said "that was the biggest damn peice of cartilage I ever removed'.
Gun hand? Sounds like it will feel like someone else is doing it for a while, huh?

...just got back from from the hospital...pin in repaired joint...knuckle moved back to where it belongs...cresent-shaped incision...I go back in ten days to remove sutures...biggest p0riority is not let this wound get infected...feelin' loopy but managable...the hospital staff rocks!...girlfriend takin care of me...life is still very good spiritually...y'all be careful out there, hea?

Yikes hope the surgery was successful.. think I have few" hello kitty" band aides left over from when you came to the hospital after my get off... I'll send them your way, they worked on my lacerated spleen quite well!

...surgery went ok...been loopy at night...the after-surgery pain is starting to wake me from my sleep and is quite uncomfortable during the day cuz I refuse to down the vicodin when I need to be awake...just a little thing in the big scheme of things, but quite intense nonetheless...please, again...everyone be careful out there and gear-up when you ride....y'just never know, y'know?
...hey muzz...keep'em there just in case I make a trip out that way
