resonating at 4000rpm

Hi guys,

I dont know if somebody has already figured and posted this, but I just discovered that the resonating sound which can be heard somewhere 4000rpms is coming from the tacho/speedo assembly.

cheers

Yah, there was a guy that mentioned a couple bolts up there that typically work themselves loose.

Rattle

Well on mine it's coming from the left side of the fairing.
Resonating from the fairing I guess.

But because I install a double bubble fairing some of the sound amplified comming from the front soo.

I just ignore it and I feel fine.

The only noise I have is gear whine, and that goes away when I go over 75.

check horn under tach/speedo assembly if it's loud. whatever loud is....

I fixed a high frequency metal to metal noise that I traced to horn leaning against metal. Possibly my ZX-10R was only one with this problem but I doubt that. Just re-informing just in case.

Have fun;ZX-10R is louder than average ;too many light weight parts and construction I suppose.
