Hey there swfty, still with Fedex, and right now the hours are rather long. If I can find a way to get my gear down to work with me I may ride the bike. Hopefully you guys will be there for a while so that I can hook up with you.
DB, that ride down 9 is a lot of fun. If you can meet up with swft you should have a good ride. My friend and I ride that fairly often and I think I've seen 2 cops on it all together, of course with that said  . Don't hold me to it.
Oh and Beans, if your looking for something to do along with a ride on Saturday, Eastside Motosports is having a summer event and there are free dyno runs and the usual stuff that shops do for there little get togethers. The times for that are 10-5 Sat.

Ya, 9 WAS my favourite local road until Tuesday. 7 pm, hardly any traffic and the sheriff nabbed me,75 in a 50 zone, right where the road opens up into some high speed curvyness. 3rd ticket in less than 2 months in Wa state this year. There is definitly stepped up enforcement! Over 25 years of riding there and 1 ticket previously.
You better make reservations for about 20 at least. Unless Cafe Veloce has expanded in the last couple of years, it wasnt that big to begin with. Forgot to check with the Mrs about tomorrow night. I'll call her at work this am.
You with Fed Ex? I worked for them for 8 years up here. I want one of their Dodge/Mercedes diesel vans when they become available. Walk in van, diesel, long box. Perfect for driving down to the US for dual sport events and camping in!!

Reservations have been made under the name "McIntosh" and/or "Anderson".
I spoke with the Manager, told her about 20 riders are expected to show, she is reserving the entire outside patio for us. Told her seperate checks, so she said that would be a lot easier to manage.
Expect to meet everyone at 7:00pm. More than one person has said they will eventually make it, and straggle in at 7:30 and 8:00.
Manager said she is going to set the reservation for about 7:30 since people will be meeting up on the bikes at 7:00 and gathering together...she is glad to have us all come in on bikes, all the groups that are planning to show.

Thanks for the update. I am planning on doing that now on Saturday, stop in and get the ole 12 dynoed. Should be fun and I'll enjoy meeting more riders from the area. I've always liked that place, had some good times there. The Bellevue police even let me used their Lydar gun their to tag cars coming back and forth...I'll have to post a pic one of these days.
We are going to RMC Motorsports this afternoon, I guess that place is huge in Renton, never been there. Going to at least check it out.
I hope to see you on Friday niuhi!

If you're a Flat Track fan, there's racing this weekend in Castle Rock. I'm pissed about not being able to make this. Flat Track is great!!

Too bad, I had planned a real sweet ride. Was going to head west to Port Townsend, get back to the mainland via Whidbey Island, then come up 11 and cut over and meet peeps at the border, then go down 9 to Kirkland. Woulda been just about a tank of gas on the ZZR...270 miles. For those who ARE attending, there will be door prizes given away. I'm bringing some.

Yeah, I'm with the freight division though, I get to drive the big trucks . Your right though, those trucks would be great for the sporting events and camping. How come you don't work for them anymore?

Right on! I should end up there at some point in time Saturday. That RMC is unreal, I work a couple of blocks away from there, so I stop in on occasion and browse. I am planning on riding my bike to work, so I should be there Friday, but I'm sure I will be one of the straglers and probably the dirtiest one there . Oh well, should be fun just the same. I think a friend of mine is going as well, in fact he may show before me, just look for the custom painted "SLOW GREEN" 12 , his name is Tom.

That stuff is funner than hell. The first time I went I walked in the gate and all these Redneck Hillbillies were wearing hats and goggles. I'm thinking what the hell is wrong with these people, then it started...Holy shit! I've never seen it rain dirt like that before, and I wasn't anywhere near the track. Damn that was fun

swft...when and where are you going to take off from and arrive to meet them at the border? Cause I will be in Bellevue tomorrow, but depending on when your going, I'd like to ride up there with you. If all you 10 owners will let a 12 ride with you of course.

Well, the thing with Mrs Dirty's car is worked out. Then I got a phone call late last night that a friend from out of town is coming in this afternoon.
If he wants to ride down there later then fine, but I doubt it. Better count me out and if I make it there, so be it. Not sure if he wants to ride his Kwak cruiser down there after riding all day to get here.
Mrs D suggested she get off work early and we drive down but it's still not for sure. I'd be there for sure but I have to see what this guy says.
