Hello,I ordered a set of these off of Doug a couple weeks ago,showed up 2 days later,bolted them on fit perfect!! So far my best 60' has been 1.53,at 60" w/b.This bike is fun to ride this way,too much wheelying stock w/b,my bike is stock piped with the muffler removed,u4 fuel,geared,bump shifting,I weigh about 200 lbs suited,my best et is 9.55 @ 145mph,it made 163.4hp on the dyno,I'm pretty pleased with my 10. Good report superchuck12 ; doing 60' in 1.53 sec. would be very difficult with stock wheelbase;where did you get your chain from?
any details on bump shifting? (electric or air shifting assistance?) associated costs and installation?

Hello,I got the chain at the local bike shop,130 links of DID 525 zvm,retails about $190,I'm running 15-41 gearing,needs about 124-126 links to make 60"w/b.I bump shift it,this is my first bike to try it on, works pretty good. Install was a breeze,used my 12's stock rear brake hose on the 10.The biggest hurdle for most guys would probably be the chain,it comes with a rivet type connector link,not a clip.Thanks Chuck.

I took my bike to the track stock wheelbase,down 1 tooth on front sprocket,front end strapped,stock pipe, went 10.12@147 mph,then I put on extensions,down 1 more in front,up 2 in the back for 15-41 gearing,my best et so far is 9.55@ 146mph,still with stock pipe,bike is set at 59.5 in w/b for 60" class at our local track.My 60' times with stock w/b was 1.72-1.75,with the extra 4.5in they are usually 1.50-1.55.I just installed my new muzzy pipe and PC,I'm taking it out to Ryan Schnitz's to have him map it Fri.Can't wait!!Hope this helps,Chuck.

superchuck12 or who might know:
Have you had problems with traction using a street tire in the 1/4 mile?
Currently I have a Dunlop 208ZR rear tire and no traction problems yet but my 60 foot times are about 1.71 at best.
I am debating whether I will need to purchase a Shinko semi-slick radial for good launches if I lengthen my wheelbase 6.5 inches with the swingarm extensions.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Hello,it depends alot on the track condition,I run a M/T MCR2,cause our local track is a little lacking on prep.I ran my zx-11 at 8 in over with a good street tire at a good track,with no problems.Hope this helps,Chuck

I've always been skeered of twisties! The thoughts of running off the road at speed always got in the way of a good time.Seen friends run off the road in front of me,thought that would suck.I enjoy 'brisk' riding,Nicky Haden I'm not,I know my limits.When I race the bike I put a shoot-out tire on it,when I street ride I put the OEM tire back on it,remove the swingarm ext.,and gearing,fr.end strap,etc,Chuck.
