Check your collector/canister bolts.. slip on owners...

So.. .I gave the bike a good once over today during some down time qat work... I noticed thaqt the bolt that holds the canister to the s-bend/ midpipe on my Muzzy is gone man! Anyways... it was a bit of a shock, but it's totally gone and the pipe is only being held in by the hanger...

so check those bolts and perhaps some locktite is in order...

as opposed to "preventative maintenance" where I would've found out earlier so the bolt wouldnt have gone missing at all?

Actually, I believe Muzzy is one of the only manufactures who utilize the " pinch-bolt" design on the inlet. Most others use a T-bolt clamp and/or springs.
