Unless you're pretty experienced at figuring out how things come apart, I'd suggest that you take a careful look at the shop manual. You do have one, right? You can get to the plugs in question by unbolting the mount brackets above them. I'd forget the head without dropping the engine. It looks do-able, but why struggle. Just pop the engine out. That's really no big deal. just R.T.F.B.

Doug knows a hell of alot more about this than I do, and I defer to him; but one suggestion I would make is to put every part you take off the bike in a common container, and do not ride the bike unless that container is empty upon re-assembly.

Thanks Doug. I was able to get those brackets off and get the plugs out. Im doing this in my garage so I'm tryn not to pull the engine. I dont know what the set up weighs. I have some experience on this type of work. I did the silincer gears on my RC51. I'll let everyone know how this goes.lol I bought the gasket from www.muzzys.com (plug, plug, plug) Ask for Brandon.

Doug, I don't have the book yet(I was told by several dealers that it is on backorder?) But I riped the bike apart with no problem and noticed the brackets that where stopping me from taking out the other two plugs. Can I use a jack to lower the engine a few inches to get at the plugs?

I'd say at that point you've almost got it out. The engine weighs 150 pounds.
I'm afraid it sounds like you're getting yourself into one of those positions where you're going to discover things that are hanging you up one by one. This usually ends up with a (Jimi Hendrix voice) FRUSTRATING MESS! Be careful.
Can't you borrow a book or at least look at the dealer's?

I ordered my manual from Buykawasaki.com and had it in 1 day. Apparently Kawasaki has a distribution center about 2 hours from my house

Get a pro to do it. And no you do not have to pull the engine. This bike is different than all others and can be a absolute mess. If you can't afford to pay a pro then don't do it. Trust me..........
