valve exhaust removed

anyone done it? results? better or not?

I asked the same some time ago. I've tried it out (disabled the valve by uninstalling the cables at the stepper motor under the seat) and personally I think I didn't notice a change in performance. The sound does get throatier for sure. I think the valve is for noise regulations only. Would be nice if someone could backup with some dyno results.

I think the valve's purpose is to give more low end power. If you disable the valve...It cant close off to increase the back pressure...My 2 cents...LPS

Yeah... the valve is for low end torque for sure. Noise regulation is just an ancillary benefit
