Jeroen.. good to hear from you! I have no idea what the exact translation is... I am guessing it's something like "dont drive on the piston that shoots out of the street or we'll arrest you"

The translation of the picture is 'automatic barrier'. Dunno where you saw that one, but we do have them in the centre of cities to keep out the cars, but to still be able to let firetrucks etc pass.
Your signature translates as 'when the light turns green, one car may pass'. It's being used at the access of highways in order to regulate the flow to prevent traffic jams. Because they didn't mention motorcycles I always ignore this light, unless they've installed a red light camera
