At least slap some duck tape on them knees and put them on the ground! Flick the bitch! Wheelie, smoke the tires, crossed up, out-of-shape, etc... Sorry, I'm gonna go for a ride now and leave you alone.....
Nice pix.

KB> Could you be a peach and post a pic or 2 of me on the site. I really believe that I'm computer retarded, I've just tried for the last hour to do so and can't get it to work for me, either that or they won't let us do it form the computers over here. Thanks bro.

Man you guys are rough, this was my first time up there and I was having a heck of a time with this beast, I do see what you mean about the lines though....P.S. i did sign up for a keith code school after this weekend...I guess i was use to our florida corners(clover leafs) and nice long straight busa/gsxr1K/04 r-1 killing roads...I did at least kill all the other bikes in our group on the parkway up to the gap with a 170mph plus run(04 r-1 was really close though)

K bryant- hey i was promoting your products all weekend to the RC-51 guys that were with us, do you happen to have any good maps for those pigs? these things will barely wheelie and get like 80 miles per tank, they ran out of gas on the way up to the gap from gatlinburg once

OK, I guess you really can't see too well, but I was riding one session without pucks. Quite a surprise!!

You simply haven't met the right RC rider. I could wheelie mine all day long. Take it through all the gears, standing or sitting. That said I can also wheelie a Ninja 250 so it may not be that great of a wheelie machine.

Well thank you very much for the promo action to the RC51 boys. Hmmm, they rip pretty good with the Slip-Ons or 2-1 system. I've spent about 25k miles on all the years and I really like them alot! But they really don't wheelie under acceleration.... You need to "help" them up a little with the clutch. They're just on the heavy side and power is lacking a little with a stock engine (usually in the 115 - 124 hp range). The 03-04 runs really good without mapping. We did not make a map. Simply did not need one. We leave that up to Dynojet and/or the individual tuners.
Now you are excused, but you still need to wear full safety gear when throttling up like that.

12R> Awesome bro, way to hold it down for the 10's, that place looks like a blast. Tiger> looks like you had fun, my only thing would be something that I tell my students going through the MSF over here is...would you rather sweat to death orbleed to death. I know kinda extreme, but the sailors here don't tend to be the smartest around, so I need to put it in a perspective they can understand.

Sounds like the next best thing to leathers. I've worn alot less when I used to ride on the street.

Some guys can go overboard for the street. Hell, I know I have. There's gotta be a comfort / protection ratio for the street. Too uncomfortable, and it's not worth doing it. On the other hand, bathing trunks and a pair of flip flops are right out...

You did nothing wrong at all. Just a suggestion to wear "proper" gear if you're going to go "170 plus". I dress that way too sometimes depending on where & what I'm riding or riding too. But you'd probably leave more of yourself and the Icon pants on the pavement in the event of a mishap at those speeds....

tiger... you may want to look into a nice 2 piece gig for the street.
Maybe a perforated Vanson, since you live in FL like me.
FWIW, I dont think full leathers is overkill for the Gap and surrounding roads.
Most of the posted speed limits are 30-45mph. Most of us riding are doing 100+ on some of these roads. Prepare accordingly.
I did notice a HUGE amount of riders in the DG area that had NO gloves!
Shit... if there were only 3 pieces of gear I could have ...it would be Helmet, Gloves, and boots...hehe

yeah, I would give up my jacket before I would give up my gloves. Rash and scars are bad but crippled hands would really suck.
