Coolant Issues
On a whim checked my coolant tank and it was quite below the low mark. I find this strange cause I have just under 2K miles on the bike. The bike in traffic gets up to 210 and doesn't seem to run any hotter, curious if anyone else has noticed this.
Will be flushing the system and putting in some Engine Ice and check for any leaks. Any advice/opinions on this?

Most likely cause is that the coolant was never topped up by your dealer during the PDI... the coolant level you're describing is the level the coolant comes at in shipping... I think you're over reacting. Top it up and ride it for a while... if it's gone down THEN start your checking process.

Well here's the thing, I know the dealer very well along with the service manager and lead mechanic. When I took delivery all fluids were topped off I made sure to check. I had a great relationship with my dealer and trusted them so I don't believe that was the problem. I would take it back to them but have recently moved so that's not an option.
On another site several other 10 owners have noticed the same thing so it just makes me curious........

Engine ice??? Dont be stupid. Water Wetter + Distilled water + 25% or less coolant mixture is perfect for the street.
Like fish said... your cooling system wasnt completely bled prior to your purchase.

I know that people make mistakes, so yes what you and Fish said can be very true. Others have noticed this so it made me curious. I'll do some research on the Water Wetter and see what opinions are out there. Thanks for the opinions that's what makes this board great!!!!

ocasionally air may get trapped somewhere in the cooling system and may take a long period of time for it to work itself out and I do mean a long period of time...sooo.....set everything the way it should be and keep an eye on it.
On a different note....bear in mind that the coolant resevoir sits in a pretty warm spot on the bike and evaporation does occur.
I'm not trying to play anything down just trying to give possible explanations.

zx10, i noticed the exact same thing. coolant was topped off at time of delivery. i recently noticed that the bike seemed to be running hotter. i checked the coolant level and was surprised to see it slightly beneath the low level. i did not see anything that would indicate a leak. i topped off the coolant level this weekend, and the bike is running cooler. the coolant level has remained the same so far.

ZX10, My level is low like yours and my friend Russell's was the same. A number of them are like that. I haven't even bothered to top it off yet. Bike runs consistently 165-170 degrees while moving, 209 in traffic before fan comes on. Not an issue.

There is an extraction tool for import cars. Think the price was $150 last time I looked.
The cheap way is to let the bike heat cycle a few times.
Eventually the trapped air will find its way out IF there are no leaks in the coolant system.
I had a jeep a few years back that had a slight crack in the reservoir bottle. I went round and round... trying to figure out this problem. Spent $500 on new radiatior, gaskets, etc. Turns out the $15 bottle was the root cause.
