Got my RC replacement on Tues.
I picked up my BLACK ZX10R on Tuesday and so far I am very happy.
4 weeks ago my RC51 was stolen and I was very undecided as to what machine I would go for. It basically came down to the 10 or a 2004 RC.
It will take a little time to climatize myself back to the I4 but I am sure by the time the new baby is broken in I will feel a little more comforatable.
So far I have ordered an Ohlins damper from Dan Kyle (huge fan of Dan's he has helped me out a lot with my 954 and then my RC).
Where does everybody like to shop for ther bike candy?

I shop at Parts Canada - I work there. Well, maybe work is a bit strong - I've been employed at a lot of places, but I've NEVER been accused of work!!!

Pipe City and Helmet Harbor are local to me, and I ride occasionally with the staff. I throw them about 40% of my parts.

Hi Jammer,
I have been dealing with Dan down in California for the past couple of years, he offers excelent personal customer service and his prices are very competative, even after the shipping up to Canada. I see that you are in London, was Parts Canada once known as Action Accesories?
kz2zx, I have heard good things about Helmet Harbour on other boards.

Funny story,
I bought a pair of Oxtar Ti Evo boots from them. Well, not really - I got one left boot from a pair of Evos, and the right from the Ti-Evo.
Two weeks later, I noticed. Two weeks of shifting...
They were very cool about it. Made the exchange on the spot.

I am glad to hear that someones been having good dealings with Dan lately. I have ordered from them in the past but I will NEVER do any business with them in the future. Hardracing will get my business from now on. They succeeded where Kyle Racing failed. BTW, I too came from a RC, as did several more here, and I think you will soon forget all about the '51.

Never forget the 51. I still ride an 01 & 03. Same fun, different flavor. It's all good!

I will miss the 51, maybe not the most powerfull ride out there but has tons of character to make up for it.
The 10 on the other hand has no shortage of performance and I am sure I will find it's character once I get to know it a little better.
I guess I should maybe consider changing my screen name, maybe KPower?

mad, sorry to hear you had problems with DK.
He has been good by me, helped do some trouble shooting over the phone a couple of times and carries top shelf stuff.
Speeking of which, has anybody added the Sato slip-on to their ZX10R?
The Satos and PC3r completely changed the RC, I wonder how the 10R system works?

Methinks they would do fine. Absolutely top notch quality, Sato is...
