We are running Armour Bodies. The fit on their bodywork was very good. You can see right where to drill most of the bolt holes too. The only mismatch I noticed was between the front of the seat and the fuel tank - a slight radius difference, but not too bad. My painter liked the finish, but he has seen Armour Bodies that were fairly pourus on the surface before. But nothing as bad as the HotBodies stuff.

I run the Armour because it weighs so much less than anything else out there besides carbon fiber, but it is extremely flexible. Our windscreen showed marks from hitting the ignition switch, but the upper is intact even after bending that far. We will actually keep using the upper - it only needs minor repairs and some paint.

This is from another thread. Hope you find it helpful.

I run AK Composites and am very satisfied with the product. It took a bit of time to get, but the wait was definitely worthwhile. All pieces are primered and nearly ready for paint (just finish sand with 400 grit paper, and your done). All holes match up perfectly. Very light. Absolutely no spider cracking like the cheap stuff. Flexibility is better with Sharkskinz, but not by much. Certainly not by the premium that Sharkskinz charges these days.

A full set runs about $650, but you may be able to work a better deal if you call and speak to Ali directly. Tell him that Scott Weires in Florida referred you. That may be worth a few bucks. We had a ton of back and forth re: finalizing ZX-10R pieces and I have the first of his Superbike tails.

Good luck with your decision.

Excellent news! I look forward to comparing that to the A-Tech bodywork that I'm working on getting.

Try Hotbodiesracing.com as well. They have some available now, and they do a racer discount. If you call, ask for Roger, he is the head of their race support division and the president of the company.

We chose AK Composites (http://www.akcomposite.com) based on belly pan access and the availability of a Supersport tail. Quality out of the box is good, necessitating minimal preparation; very few voids or pinholes, virtually no molding/gel coat slag. The supersport tail does require minor clearancing to allow mounting/removal of the seat.

Speak with Heidi concerning their racer support program.

Don't mind him wormie... I'll give ya some pucks that ya can bench race with. They'll make ya look real fast. And as far as the leathers go, I've still got my Suzuka leathers you could use. But after meeting ya, I think ya might have trouble fitting into them. You were a little bigger than 170 weren't ya?......

swft>...uh...no!...I don't wanna see your 'experienced' kinky leathers with the quick-release 'buddy access hatch' feature in the seat area, nor do I wish to see your extra thick pucks that enhance your rocking motion when you're on all fours doing unsavory things with men...whom you at first thought were women...but turns out they weren't...but then you didn't mind...and wipe off your mascara!

k>...your leathers will fit me perfectly...if this was the 8th grade...I was 180 by the 9th grade...at any rate, even if they did fit, I'd have to respectfully decline your most gracious offer...I have this distinct aversion to encasing my sweaty jewels in the same area where another man's sweaty jewels were...swft might not mind, though

...but I'll humbly recieve both of yaz' experienced pucks...I'll brag-race them on my unsuspecting non-motorcycling friends and family with feats of steely heart-attack daring-do
