152 miles per hr and still no headshake
i dont know at a 152 miles per hr there is still no head shake it seem to get smoother the faster i went this bike kick ass

I tried everything to get mine to start shaking. Bumpy corners, hard acceleration on bumpy straights, landing 100+ mph wheelies. Never got more than a quick shudder out of it. But the hand wringers and gloom & doomers got the best of me so I bought a damper anyway, just in case. Hate to find out at 170 mph that they were right. Grrrrr.

I touched mine up to 160 and then my young buddy gets on it and hits 179 on my poor bike. More cajones than i had thats for sure. Scotts is on mine but it rolls well at high speed.

I put mine up to 168 and it got a little nervous, nothing major mind you, just enough to let me know that she is thinking about me, then I put on the steering damper.

That's cause your the man, and I heard that the Orange ones are more stable anyway, and the black ones are lighter(mine), with more power

The Green ones are quicker AND More Stable than the other colors...Sorry to break it to all of you with out the green. Is all in the computer, not motor. Check the stock maps...

I dont know about you guys not experiencing even alittle shake.
I felt it the second I rolled the throttle on.
Maybe its from riding old heavy assed, skinny tired, 18" wheel shod Kawis side talking....hehe

I think it is probably easier to get the ZX10 or any other modern liter bike to shake if you sit up like a big sail when you are WOT at higher speeds.

Wimps - Ours is rock steady on the rev limiter in top with stock gearing  .

Skimming the front lightly down a rough surface in 1st & 2nd makes it a bit flighty mind but the MUZZY damper killed that dead.
FYI speedo stops dead at 189mph indicated which measured @ 170mph.

I felt a the shake going from 3rd to 4th at full throttle
while going up a hill. It wasn't overly violent but it told me, slow down dumbass! My 2000 ZX-9R was rock solid .I read somewhere that it needed a damper but even at the track I never encountered it.I read about the CBR 900 needing a damper and then talking to the owners and they said they never felt any shake at all.

I don't see the need for a damper either . My bike is rock stable . Especially for the light weight and all ....
