SATO exhaust

My RC51 was just taken from me and I am just about ready to replace it with a 10.
Are there any other SP guys out there that have switched to the cow?
I was lucky enough to get a test ride on the 10 at a dealership up here in TO and was blown away with the unlimited throttle responce.
Very light, yes the RC is a little portly but the trade off is in the stabilatly.
What is a good Canadian OTD price?

I just saw Dan Kyle post some results for a Sato slip-on.
Looked good! The Sato's on my RC transformed my bike into a rocketship! Highly recomended for the Honda, what about for the Kawi?

A local cop traded his RC51 as soon as he rode the 10r. There'll be alot of that in the future ,I would think.

after my ride today, and just brutally embarassing this guy that was on a 954RR today, he really likes the 10R, as in the straights, I pulled him like he was standing still.......

Damn, I am a cop and I traded my RC for the 10R, you talkin about me Zammy? Anyway, I loved my RC51, 2002 with PC3R, Soft rev, flapper, pair mod, filters etc... those mods along with the Mig highmounts I had really made the RC a blast to ride. That said, the '51 has absolutely nothin on the 10R, Nothing. The 10 is just as stable thanks to the Scotts damper I installed(had a Matris M4 on the RC) but much, much faster. The 10 has better stock suspension too. The brakes however lacked the feel of the RC's stock brakes but I fixed that with the addition of SS lines and HH pads for the 10. The 10 is a better bike. Lighter, faster, better handling so on and so on. You will not be dissapointed with the 10R.

It's amazing how many previous "Fiddy-One" owners have made the switch to the 10R. I too had a 2000 RC51 with Moriwaki slip-ons, PC2, and gearing mods. Along with shedding some poundage, the 51 responded really well to mods, and handled amazingly well (as long as there wasn't quick switchbacks). It was hard to jump on a Kawi after being a Honda flag-waver for most of my life, but no regrets thus far.

The 10R in the performance stakes plainly does everything better than the 51 ever did (including the SUV-like thirst for high octane that my RC had). The 10R flicks into corners with almost the same verve as an R6 but with stability to boot. Then there is the way it annhilates straight sections of highway like it has booster rockets strapped to its swingarm. The ZX-10R almost has a dual personality. Ride it sanely and its docile and complacent. Ride it hard, and the knife-edged reflexes become apparent. Just respect unleashing the crazed beast at the twist of your right hand and nobody gets hurt.

Thanks for the feed back guys.
I expect to get my claim payed out by the end of the week, still not sure what will go in the garage though.
From my test ride the only thing I did not like about the 10R was the dash. I know, how can a RC guy complain about that but I found the tach very hard to read. And I am also afraid I will miss the V twin sound.
Rspec99 I am sure the Kaw will be a huge step up in performance and it would be nice to be able to go more than a 120 mile in between fill ups.

I too switched from an RC ('00). I loved it, but the black 10 seduced me. After an initial test ride of the ZX10, I was not sold. After a blast across the Kancamagus Highway(N.H.) on a friend's ZX10, the poor RC didn't stand a chance. You will always miss that V2 rumble - can't have everything. You'll get used to the dash, plus the 10 has an adjustable shift light. Buy it!
