SH!T
Ok so returning from tonights ride with a few of the boys tonight, I'm about a mile away from my house when I hear something sweaking when I twist the throttle! I couldn't really pinpoint the source, but it seemed to be coming from around the forks somwhere under the nose. Well when I got home I went to have a look and my whole turn signal was punched out from the fairing. After obtaining a flashlight I finally settled on a culprit, THE RADIATOR! Well I didn't have the energy to remove all the plastics, it seems the radiator has broken or simply separated the bracket(s) on the top left of the radiator.....have to check it out tomorrow night after work......... MORALE OF THE STORY........Its true what we all have been told by our elders.........Bikes actually AREN'T built to be riden on one wheel every possible straight away for a 4 hour drive........yet another reason stunting just isn't worth it

You must have put her down really hard to break a weld like that. Man, I have wheelied mine on several occasions and have had no problems at all.
Peace,

Did anyone look at how the radiator is mounted....it only has one bolt attaching it on one side of the top...the other sits on a bushing and a nub or something....well my bushing is shit and it looks like I have to pull the radiator and bend the mounting tabs in a lil.....oh also noticed the mounts for the tailight in the tail are busted off.....I did a couple of lil tiny stoppies but nothing worthy of doing this stuff.....Wither I got a lil bit of a lemon or these just aren't meant to abuse at all

...ya' mean ta tell me that stoppies and prolonged wheelies are NOT considered abuse of the machine? ...I think the design parameters were such that the engineers designed these bikes to operate with maximum effeciency and safety with its two tire/wheel assemblies simultaneously and constantly being in contact ON the road surface, not above or beyond...anything else is considered operator error and not the bike's fault...there's nothing in the owner's manual on the proper techniques for wheelies or stoppies, right?...still, I wish I knew how to do both...chics dig it

beyond the road surface.......Its like beyond the surface of a girl....I think he's telling us we need to get to know what is on the inside and just have the surface as a bonus......Maybe the surface is doing this on purpose to me but its doing it to the bike because it cares about me and wants this to tell me not do do stupid shit and hurt myself......could be!

...I was trying to be eloquent...when I say road, I mean 'pavement'...beyond pavement means dirt...as in off-road...capice?
