How many people on here are still waiting on their Muzzy Pipe?
I ordered my slip-on through a local dealer in mid-March and he told me then it would be in in two weeks at most. Well two months have gone by and I talked to them today, and now they're telling me that it should be in the second week of June. I'm extremely pissed about this, especially since they charged my card the day I put my order in. I'm just curious, am I the only one who is still waiting?

I've got the Muzzy installed. I ordered from my local dealer and had it in less than 3 weeks.

My dealer said mid june as well. Then again they said they get there stuff from partsunlimited not direct from muzzy. Maybe your dealer did the same?

Clarification and BS alert.
Parts Unlimited does not carry our Titanium line except for titanium mufflers on stainless pipes. They WILL soon have our lower cost stainless slip on system for the 10 (available with all muffler options). The current Muzzy tapered titanium slip on system is available only from our dealers (who must get it from us) or directly from us. The cost to dealers whether they procure directly from us or one of our distributors i.e., Parts Unlimited is the same.
I hope to have a photo of this system (as well as our frame sliders and exhaust hanger) up at Muzzys.com by tomorrow.

How do I get a pipe from a dealer with the non welded S curve that Rob mentioned?

All,
I ordered mine through Muzzy last week and had it 2 days later. Seems ordering direct is much faster as long as they say in-stock on their web site.

You can order it from us (I suggest the analog telecommunication device). Presently it will go on (back) order and as soon as it is manufactured it will ship to you. Looking at about 10-14 days on those.

Doug,
Not to be a cheapo (which I am) but the local dealers seem to be giving better pricing on the slip ons. I was quoted 475 local delivered & taxed for the carbon slip on can.
Can I still call up ?

You've probably missd this ststement before, but it's worth repeating-
With respect to our dealers, As a manufacturer we do not sell at anything other than list price. If a given dealer of ours wishes to offer a discount, he has every right to do so. But we will never "force" him to do that to be competitive with us. That wouldn't be fair to the people who put their faith in us and our products. If you have a local dealer that serves you honestly and efficiently, by all means give him your business.

Doug,
I already am a happy customer with a CF Slip-on and those beautiful welds....now are you still on track to have the frame slider pics up by tomorrow?? Just wondering what they will look like and how they will mount--most importantly will there be any cutting required and when exactly will they be available--I have a set of Moko sliders on backorder but will pull the order if yours are available soon (trackday on 30 May)....Thanks for the great support.

Doug,
I guess I am asking, if I want the "non welded S curve that Rob mentioned", is that something I can get from my local dealer, or if I want the "non welded S curve" is that something that I can only get from Muzzys direct.
I guess I am curious if there is a special part number to ensure that I get a clean looking S curve. I could see how I would tell the dealer what I want & get a "yeah yeah" as it tends to happen. Weeks later, suddenly I find I dont have what I ordered.
I would rather support my local dealer (as you mentioned) but I want to make sure I can get it from him.
Thanks for your time,
Rich

Rich,
It is something that you will be able to get from your local dealer or us. But as of this exact moment the only way to get one on order would be by asking your dealer to call us and put one on order or to order one by phone from us. Within a few days the Internet purchase of this item will be enabled. The official description of this product is "stainless slip-on"
guamaniac,
We will not have these sliders available by 30 May. It will be at least 4 weeks. The price will be $149.95 and yes, we still hope to have the photos up today. These sliders mount in two places to eliminate the possibility of twisting, are very strong and easily serviceable.

That is a titanium one. We're talkin' stainless here. The frame sliders are in new products at muzzys.com

Oh, I thought Rob was talking about a Ti slip on system with the S curve that was polished & clean looking, not a stainless steel system.

Well I called my dealer today and he clarified with Parts Unlimited exactly what Doug said earlier in this post. So he ordered me the titanium can, mid-pipe directly through Muzzys, and says that it'll be here within the next week. I hope he's right this time!! Thanks for the info Doug, you just saved me a ton of headache!
