just make sure they're single filament. Otherwise the connector won't fit

600rr, first of all what you are looking for are just the whiter halogen bulbs. HID by definition requires a conversion kit. asshole marketers commonly call their bulbs HID but it has nothing to do with HID. they just approximate the HID look by shifting the colour temperature more towards white.
i'd shy away from all those flashy bullshit brands like eudodesignz. the philips ones you mentioned are, by all accounts i'v read, the good quality, well engineered, and at a reasonable price (compared to the PIAAs). u should be able to get them at most parts stores (pepboys, etc).

I did some checking on the Phillips bulbs, and the only ones I could find in the US were OEM replacement H7 bulbs. Powerbulbs.com has the Blue Vision bulbs, and a guy on ebay has them also, but they are both in the UK. Anyone know of any place in the US to get them?

sorry, i thought philips and sylvania were the same company for some reason, or at elast shared products. u want the Sylvania cool blue or silverstar bulbs. the latter is the whiter bulb. u shoudl be able to get it almost anywhere. fully street legal in the US too.
http://sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm
can buy them straight from sylvania if u want

i love that sylvania lists the bulb's actual light output (in lumens) instead of all the misleading marketing complete bullshit that piaa and others use (65W=130W my ass). they'r also honest enough to say "the sleek look of HID" instead of outright lying and calling them "HID bulbs".
