Riding position - 10R vs 6R
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any difference in the riding position between the two models, 6R (NOT 6RR) and 10R? Also, are the transmission ratios the same in both bikes?

I also have an 03 636 and I feel the riding position on the 10 is alot more comfortable. The 6 is a good bike but I feel my legs are a little cramped and the riding position is more aggresive, I am 6 feet tall. To me it was hard to use the whole seat on the 6 before shaving it because I was always sliding forward on the tank. The 10's seat is more flat. I dont know the exact numbers but the gearing on the ten feels quite different...tall first gear.

I'am 6ft 6inches and i am very comfy on my zx10r i was worried about the same thing you were but let me tell ya you will love it the tank is shaved in spo you have more leg space also....

I'm 6'2" and love the riding position of the 10R. The shape of the tank allows much more room for legs than on most other liter-class bike (04 R1 and Duke 999 are also good on ergonomics) or the 03/04 636. Also the distance from the seat to the handlebars on the ten is better for taller riders than on the 636.
