Modify Factory Exhaust Can

It's great to see all the slip on and full exhaust options available;Iwould not mind one myself and may buy after some time but... who will be the champion to figure out what modifications can be done to existing factory can for the thrifty minded community.

I already spent a bunch on bike and damper; plus I will be getting a few other aftermarket parts$$.

Is catalytic converter removable? What can be done to free flow? off road only purpose of course.hehe

Seriously; modifying existing can may work just fine for many new ZX-10R owners.

ANY HELP OR INSIGHT WILL BE GREATLY USEFULL AND APPRECIATED. If I figure out I will equally post to help ZX-10R owners.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely.

Its possable, I may be able to put together another group of mods like some of you may remember back in 00 with the 12r.
I'll have to see if I can make some time, I'm about ready to paint my wifes chevelle and finish it up. (finally)
I've been working on it for 18 months and its down to the end now.
I'll see if otto65 wants to modify his bike. He had talked about keeping this one stock. We must be getting old, we were talking about the advantages of having quite bikes. We'll see, no promises.

quiet is good...stealthy is good...'stock appearing' is good...now all we need is a loud ass horn to warn inattentive drivers of our presence...

...all my future 10r needs for starters is the Euro turn-sigs, a Muzzy steering dampner, a cleaner rear seat cowl, a Dino exhaust hanger, a Throttlemeister cruise control, and removal of rear passenger pegs, license plate/fender assembly, and the goofy reflectors...the bike is plenty light and plenty powerful enough for me...
