I should get a couple of Kawasaki original accessory racing-screens by the end of week. I'll have to see how it looks and decide then wether to install one on my bike. The stock windscreen works suprisingly well for me, although I'm 6'2".

Targa Accessories has them available now.
I installed my dark smoke one last week. Nice fit and finish.
It is a stock replacement piece though...no double bubble shape.

otto65> I bought my Scotts from Hard Racing, $404 USD. I didn't order a windscreen yet though, you willneed to invest in extra panties though, preferrably the tear away type so that you can discard quickly and get back to riding. You thinkI am kidding, get back to me when you get to take yours up to 10K rpm. It will make you curse in public, OUT LOUD!!!
I have had my 10R for three weeks and it is a monster. I went over 845 miles on Sunday while out one a ride with my boys. Eric on an '02 12R decided he wanted to run so I engaged him, we started from a 45 mph roll, me in second gear to cut out the wheelies, he leaves and I follow. I rolled agressively on the throttle, not pinning it and shifting at 10K. We went through 2nd, 3rd and 4th partially. No contest, as bad as the morrors are on the 10R are, I could see his entore bike behind me, that equates to at the very least, three bikes. I nearly cracked my helmet smiling. I had no idea the bike would perform like that after 4K droning around on back roads, with occasional bursts to load the rings to 6K and 8K through the gears. Boy she was ready for the battle. No need to do it again though. I thought my 12R was fast until Sunday, she is still my steady Eddy for long rides though.
Peace,
Johnny

OK! I received three Kawasaki Genuine Accessory racing windscreens today, and it turns out they are MRA racing screens. It's OK, as the MRA screens are of the highest quality I've seen. The thing that pisses me off, is that the shield is twice the price ordered through Kawasaki and when I asked MRA in Germany for ZX10R screens two weeks ago, they told me they wouldn't be able to deliver until July. Well, I'll install one tonight and see how it looks on the bike.

Are these screens talked about here helping with wind protection?
Are they taller for instance?.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Peace.

The Kawasaki shield made by MRA works ok for wind protection. About 2 cm taller then the original. The looks of the screen are however dividing opinions a little. The shape is a kind of a edgy double bubble (the same as the MRA racing shield for GSX-R1000K3/K4).
The Kawasaki Genuine Accessories part number for the smoke color screen is 204WSP000S
