Wipe Down with rags made from sweatshirts. Use the hard side to rub the dirt and insects off, the soft side for the waxing shine.

If you want to get grease off of the swingarm frame and other sticky parts. Use Dawn dishwashing detergent get chain lube and other sticky shit off. For(shiny) painted parts use a good car or cycle wash. Note if you use the Dawn on the paint you will strip the wax off of it. A nice clean shoft sponge should not scratch (if you drop the sponge on the ground wash it off B4 you touch the paint WILL SCRATCH). If you dont want to wax after you wash it atleast spray a finishing product on it. Mothers fast wax or Bike finish. Something easy and fast to apply. Now if I would only apply this to my own bike more often. It would look great. LOL. If you have any Q's go to your local parts store and ask them what would be the best. They are always happy to help. Have fun

Pro Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish...4$ at any Honda dealer....BTW...I only own Kawi's and neither current bike I have has seen water....only from the road. It takes off grime, bugs, tar, sap...no effort. It is also a good polish in between waxes. Has anybody tried this?

WD 40 can work a million wonders. If you get some hard grease or bugs or about anything on it. Try some WD-40 and just see what happens.

If it's real dirty wash it using a mild car detergent and thoroughly dry it using soft cotton towels.....

After you dry it.....Use a CLEAN cotton cloth like old t-shirts and use Honda Spray polish on the metal surfaces and PLEXUS on all plastic surfaces...

You can use a glaze and a wax on the tank but it doesn't look noticeably better than the Honda spray polish by itself.

You can get by with using the Honda spray polish because it works great on everything but I like to use the Plexus for plastic surfaces because that's what it was made for...
Plexus cleans plastics very well....You know how on 2 stroke mx bikes you'll get little dark spots of unburnt premix oil on the rear numberplate next to the exhaust ? Plexus or Honda polish will clean it off with EASE! just spray and wipe and it comes off effortlessly...

Do not use WD40 on plastic parts because it will make them brittle over time......Metal parts are o.k. but avoid spraying it on plastic...It might look nice and greasy and shiny for a while but it will eventually cause the plastic to fade and become brittle..plus it will attract dust...

rollindeuce - You are the winner!!!

I used that stuff on my Suzuki and now Kaw. There is nothing I've seen yet to compare, nothing! It's funny, my buds ride Yam, Hon Suz and Kaw...We all agree on "Pro Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish", this is THE PRODUCT by far.

Guys, I spray it on my lights covered with bugs then the rest of the bike. I polish entire bike the go easily rub off the bugs about 5 minutes later,

Pro Honda Polish is TRULY good stuff. I have also used Pledge furniture polish (really). WD-40 is great also on the swingarm, rims, and anywhere excess oil may be.
