Shop manual...finally!!

Went back to Illinois and my dealer there had my shop manual. I took a look at the gear position switch and found it to be way different than the one on the 12. Guess I won't be building any gear position indicators unless someone comes up with a viable design. I'm working on a clean/simple way to run the headlights in the old school fashion of two lows and two highs. Don't want to just drag a wire between them if there is a cleaner way. Stay tuned, peeps.

Let us know, I am very interested in getting both headlights working at the same time (hate the one on & one off look)>

you can check 2-32 to help "confirm" part of the service bulletin for all of the non-believers.

How are you going to retrofit dual filament bulbs?

once again....what is the thinking behind having only one headlight on when there's two headlights available?...ok, one MASSIVELY HUGE headlight is ok, but when you have two itty bitty headlights available and only one comes on in low or high beam, what's the point of making it a two light system then?....style?....I think its stupid...

its obvious that most want the asthetics, not to mention the conspicuity of two bright lights on low and high...

...and don't get me started on the stupid LCD tachs....we're talking STREET bikes here Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, et al...STREET BIKES...and street bike riders want ergo-friendly gages...the racer and wannabe racers can remove the shit if they want to suit track and posing needs....

FIX IT!!!!!!!

thank you...I'll go drink my hot coco now...

I'm hoping that the sockets would interchange with a different model bike because cobbling something together on this would be dubious at best.
I'm normally a "function over form" kinda guy so as long as it works, I'm good. But riding around looking like I have a headlight out really bugs me.
