So with Sanchini gridded fifth and Nikano gridded sixth, it's safe to say that the light at the end of the tunnel is NOT an oncoming train. I was gonna ride tomorrow...Screw that I'm glued to SPEED !!!

Thanks for the update - strong showing . . . got to start keeping up better. What did that team run last year, if anything? Thanks - Mike (Sanchini that is)

I heard the announcer say something like "Not since the days of Rob Muzzy has a Kawasaki lead a World Superbike race." Sanchini seemed to be fast into the corners and seemed to have good mid corner speed but them damned ol' Ducatis just motored around him on the straights. He needs some Muzzy horsepower. They also mentioned that Sanchini was still running a stock ECU. I wonder how much power might be hidden in there.

Well the announcer should learn a bit more about WSB. Remember Akira Yanagawa, Hitoyasu Izutsu. Both won WSB races. Akira when he was in the Eckl team, Izutsu (who was Japanese AJRR champ as well) in the japanese factory team

You hate Hondas. Get this. 6 weeks ago my rear suspension broke on my 1 year old 954RR. I had just come out of a hairpin & was going about 100kph. I slid accross the road into a bank, no on coming traffic thankfully. The bike spun a few times and stopped in the middle of the road. Shes a write off. The NZ distributor collected my bike & had for 3 weeks and won't give me my money back or any refund/compensation. They admitted the bike fault and bought me a new helmet, gloves, boots and jacket. Althought I like the scuff marks on my one piece suit. They have offered to rebuild the bike for me. I don't think so!!!. Anyway, my insurance will now be paying me out once my dealer (Kawasaki agent) can confirm the price to rebuild. This really pisses me off. My riding mates recon I've been too soft on them, Bluewing Honda the New Zealands distributors. So I thought you guys should know. If this was the states and not NZ, I could sue for millions. Anyway, my new blue 10R looks great between my two Subaru WRX's in the garage. I'm sure you you'll hear more about this in the coming months. I'll keep you posted.
