Anyone figure out where to mount a radar detector yet?

I noticed that my stemstand doesnt fit the 10R... Seems like the only place so far is velcro'd to the top of the tank... any other places people have tried yet, or am I the only one who uses a radar detector here?

But shooting heroine in a public park isn't.

It has nothing to do with culture, just crap politicians, and those are everywhere no matter which country or what culture.

We should mount one on a politician's arse. Then it'll warn us when he's speaking crap. Oops, don't bother. It'd run the battery down too quick...

It sounds a little cheezy, but it is not actually that bad. Looks better on a smoked windscreen.

Turn it upside down and velcro it to the windscreen in a place that is not in the way, sometimes there is NO other place?

Don't you think I am pissed if I get fined for speeding and when I watch the news I see some shithead whining he has got to steal to get his shot, instead of getting a real job etc.

Why put it at the cockpit? You dont hear the "bleeps" when riding do you?
Helmet, earinserts, traffic, etc. etc.

I'm gonna build mine at a place where its not visable and where there is free space available. I put 3 high powered red LEDS together and place them at a good spot near my speedo. The LEDS are linked to the radar detector and blink the same time as the "bleeps" go.

It works great! I have it on my Fire Blade now for 3 years and they never did catch me! For sure it moves to the 10R when i'l get mine.

Very useful in country's where the detectors are illegal, such as here in Holland!l

After looking at several options and not wanting to use the stem location (Scotts dampner is on it's way). I used the stemstand (www.stemstand.com) from my FJR 1300 (#31000L) pulled the base off, drilled the hole a bit larger and mounted it on the upper clutch bolt. I'm using a V1 with the H.A.R.D. system and it's been working great and it doesn't block the gauge cluster at all. If you go to my website, http://www.zianet.com/bamford/stemstand.htm
you can see it. There is also a pic of the one I made for my Hayabusa using a piece of aluminum plate and rod. But the stemstand mount works much better.

I just put some velcro on the gas tank and stuck it there.
