Poll Question: What price did you pay for your ZX10R?
I'm in the market for a brand spanking new ZX10R - however, as much as I like to think that I'm a hard negotiator lately these dealers just don't want to drop there price on the '04 ZX10R. My goal is to pay $9500 OTD for this bike but it looks like I may have to wait a few months before that's possible.
I know this is possible because I was able to negotiate a brand spanking new '03 ZX6RR in June of last year for $7700 OTD while others were paying well over $9,000 OTD.
Just out of curiousity I'd be interested in know what everyone is paying these days for a ZX10R...

The OTD price will depend on your local tax and reg.
My base price was $ 10,000, but high taxes in Cali got it up to $ 10,900.
At the time , all the other local dealers , here , wouldn't even take $ 12k OTD.
Got mine 3 weeks ago while the hype was still fresh.
Things seem to be calming down in some areas, now.

9500 otd is not leaving alot of meat on the table for the dealer. It might be late in the season before someone lets one go for that but good luck, anyone offering a super low base price like 9000 is going to "fee" the hell out of ya. This early in the game and with the various bike rallies still pending 10500 including local taxes and fees is a great price in my mind. Anything under 11000 is fair for early spring. Good Luck tho.

North County Kawasaki, Encinitas, Ca.
Last time I was there, they just got in an orange one.
Some other local dealers, in San Diego, may eventully match price for the knowledgable.

$10,000 OTD. That's no taxes, title, etc. Then I got it back to Michigan and they charged me $600 tax. But 6% was lower than Illinois tax so I saved a few $$$.
(Incidentally, my price allows me to check both of the last two items in your poll)
