1 down or 3 up? Which way are you changing your gearing, if at all. I think she needs to be geared a tad bit lower, your thoughts,

I won't know until winter is over and I can finish the lousy break-in. Grrrrr.

trickchop - down one in front. Do tell all: stronger, power where you need it, like from the red light, wheelie in 5th now? Don't hold out, I'm like to think it'd make it a bit easier to ride. No slipping the clutch to take off,

When you went one down on the front did it make a big differnce? I have choked my bike down a few times at red lights and things due to this tall gearing. I am thinking serious about a sproket change. Was it worth the change?

I went -1F to aid in leaving from a stop, lenghten the wheelbase a bit and to have quicker accel throughout the mid to upper range.

yeah it helped a bit. it still feels like i could drop another. a front sprocket is only 13 dollars and change so its deffinitly worth it
