Man, that's pretty harsh! Why don't you just camp out in the obits column so you can call the rider's wife or parents?

I'm not defending ozzy's statement, but as it happens every new riding season, somebody's gonna go in too hot and crash and walk away or get slightly tweaked...and that somebody's gonna total their new bike...and that somebody's gonna try to buy it back from their insurance and/or sell it off piece meal to get some money out of it...and some of us will hover like vultures for the parts...every year, every season, same thing...I know ozzy and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a death wish for anyone...and he can tell you a thing or two about crashing badly himself, too...he's just saying out loud what some of us think...you know you do...every new riding season (for you snow belt people) or every time a new bike comes out...that's just the way it is, isn't it?

...say something nice or say nothing at all????...ya' kiddin', right?...here?...I've heard worse coming from others, possibly including myself...nope, I'm not defending ozzy's statement, but I see where his dark humor is coming from....just an observation....

Geeesh, if I had thought I would piss off a bunch of people with my comment I wouldn't have made it. I thought that the people here had thicker skin, guess I was wrong.

My point is that is exactley what will happen with a good number of new 10-R's, as happened with the ZX12R when it was a first year bike.

As far as buzzards circling, you can bet your bottom dollar as soon as someone posts here they crashed their new 10R and it is a write off, they will receive numerous emails, im's and reply posts wanting to purchase it or parts from it. Its a fact of life.
